About Shenzhen:
Shenzhen is a dynamic and innovative city boasting numerous iconic landmarks that embody its rapid development and distinctive charm. Below are some of the most representative attractions:
China Resources Headquarters

Dubbed the Spring Bamboo, this 392.5-metre supertall skyscraper stands in the Houhai area of Nanshan District. Shaped like a bamboo shoot-a traditional Chinese symbol of life and vitality-its distinctive form has made it one of Shenzhen’s most iconic landmarks. The design is inspired by the winter bamboo shoots, incorporating a lightweight, stable, and rapidly assembled tube-and-diagrid structure. At the tower’s top, the Sky Hall features a cathedral-like conical space, boasting breathtaking panoramic views of the diagrid spire and the city beyond.
Ping An Finance Center

Situated in the Futian Central Business District, this 599.1- meter skyscraper is Shenzhen’s tallest building, ranking as the second-highest in China and the fourth-tallest worldwide. Its striking design evokes the image of a sword piercing the sky, symbolizing Shenzhen's unrelenting upward drive and bold ambition. The observation deck on the 116th floor provides visitors with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
Diwang Mansion

In the 1990s, Diwang Mansion became a symbol of Shenzhen's rapid development. Standing 384 meters tall with 69 floors, it was once the tallest building in the city. The Mansion embodies a fusion of Western modern architecture and Oriental traditional aesthetic elements. Its twin towers at the top inherit the symbolic design language of Chinese and Western architectural image symbols and stand for the friendly cooperation between China and other countries. Circular, semi-circular and rectangular shapes are integrated into its overall structure and planar layout, echoing the traditional Chinese philosophical concept of “round sky and square earth”.
Kingkey 100

The KK100 Tower, a 100-floor skyscraper soaring 441.8 meters high, is another iconic landmark in Shenzhen and currently the second tallest building in the city. Its architectural form is sleek and fluid, shaped like a cascading waterfall flowing into the urban landscape, which embodies Shenzhen's philosophy of green development.
These landmarks not only a testament to Shenzhen's architectural accomplishments, but also a reflection of the city's economic prosperity and its persistent pursuit of innovation.
